Where do you get a electronic regulator unit for a gt750 I didn't know they made them for that old of a bike, do they plug right in.

theses can be found at Oregon: http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/vregulators.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
they are plug and play reasonably priced and great quality as recomended by smokeyallan no less.
i think they also do a regulater/recifer combo that i wish i had got insted but hindsight 20/20.

i checked the conections in the headlight bucket ,
and found a few strange things done by PO,
Image
some cutting and joining in the past so i think when i tear it down for new paint i will invest in new wireing ,
new harnesses and as many new bits as i can find.
there must be a mile of insulating tape around the harness in and around the headlight. :wth:
but will keep ridding,
lights are for sissys anyway. :lol:

You might try a jumper wire from the gauge housing to ground to make sure gauge is grounded. It is possible you are getting a feedback from the light if the housing is not grounded properly.
