Cheers Ade - I might just take you up on that offer as it's frying my head now - I can't understand how it goes so well when it's running - went all around the Bwlch and over to Maesteg on it a fortnight ago and it went like a dream - as long as it started first kick all was well
Mal.

Re: GT250k Wont run
Another development - just discovered that the right cylinder will run on its own if the left carb is closed iE. by lifting the throttle cable at the carb top with the left lead off it will happily rev out - open the left carb and it struggles to rev - going to lift the barrels at the weekend and fit new genuine Suzuki Base and head gaskets and go from there it seems to be cross feeding between the pots somewhere

Re: GT250k Wont run
So the bike is running fine on the right cylinder, and then falters when you give the right carb a flow of air via the left carb’s choke circuit???
BAS (Bike Acquisition Syndrome) - too many bikes but have room for more

Re: GT250k Wont run
I thought about the choke circuit as it's the only real connection between the carbs but it's shutting off as it should do and not sticking at all
