Hi,have you tried reusing the head gasket on the 750 ? I don't think the head gasket would take kindly to being disturbed...& used again....water leaks etc ?
Cheers,

MY 1st bike was a dirt bike, 1979 Suzuki rm 80 , my last dirt bike was a 1999 kx250 Kawasaki, I only ran castor (not Castrol) racing 2-stroke oil in it, (i occasionally raced ) and i loved it but it is expensive and I think its pre-mix only and not for injection systems,,,,I use bellray 2-t ? i believe it is for the gt750, its expensive but its the only 2-stroke oil i have found around here that states its for injection systems,, its blue and easy to see in the lines, and it is synthetic ,(i sometimes find it cheap on e-bay but takes forever to find a cheap one),,, its crazy how you cant find normal 2-stroke injection system oil, at least where i live its hard to find, i never see it at Walmart here which is weird if you guys have it,,, I notice a lot of you use silkolene , how does it compare to bell-ray? just wondering if anybody had issues with bell-ray 2-t ,,, if you can get regular Castrol at Walmart and its for injection systems I would get that for break in , then switch later if you want to a synthetic , supposedly they are better now ?? who really knows??? probably nobody really knows.........just saying

Right, wrong, or indifferent, I have been using Yamalube 2S in the Buffalo and my H2.
