Re: Blowing the fuse!!!!
I posted this years ago, but I built my ignition from this kit.
http://www.apogeekits.com/electronic_ignition.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I took three of them, and mounted them in a box from Radio Shack. They allow you to remove the condensers and use the points as triggers. The current through the points is only 400ma rather than 4a, so they don't arc or wear. It works quite well and I set it up in such a way that I can remove the system in about 5 minutes. For a long time I carried condensers in my toolbox, "just in case" so I could convert back to stock upon failure. It never failed so I quit carrying them.

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.

Re: Blowing the fuse!!!!
Transistor assisted - cool. I used a similar device on my first CB72 race bike in an attempt to control timing better at high revs.
On the Phat Trakka I made up a custom Dyna set up using one and a half DYNA sets of modules and a slightly modified rotor. The hardest part with that was getting the timing right when drilling for the modules. Your set up eliminates that problem.
