I just thought I'd say hello. I picked up a '75 T500 a few months ago and am slowly working to put it back on the road. It's more of a cafe project than a restoration, so I hope the purists don't stone me to death.

Anyway, thanks for the info I've gathered here so far!

Welcom wingspan. And as far as cafe/purists all are welcome here. We're a pretty friendly bunch of folks. Upload some photos when you can and good luck with your project.

Yes, indeedy, welcome Wingspan. Cafe rules, IMO, if you're not doing a 100 point resto. As mentioned by Mark, we are very tolerant of what a guy wants to do with his bike......after all, it IS your bike and NOT ours.

I hope your project goes ahead as smoothly as possible and, yes, pics are always appreciated.
