Steering stem bearing
Can you fit a set of replacement tapered roller bearing, which is meant for a GT500 on a T500? I can’t find them for the T500

Yep. All the street bikes and most dirtbikes of the era (Suzuki's anyway) used the same steering bearing dimensions. Easy to come by, and a vast improvement over ball bearings. Cheers.

I stand corrected. If you pay attention, you learn something new every day. When I get to bringing my 68 T 500 back to life, I'll know what bearings to get, as tapered bearings is definitely the way to go. Thanks guys This board is definitely a good sourse of info. Cheers.
