Rear rim size

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

I'm looking for some information as to who makes a steel rim in 18 inch diameter with a 300 width using 36 spokes.
Most places i've looked only have this type in aluminum.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

300 as in 3.00 inches? at first i envisioned a 300mm tired buffalo.
the rear rim of a cb350 is 18" 36 spoke but not sure about width. i can measure one tomorrow if you like.

Yup a 300 as in up from a 215, to the big sum of three inches. Preferably a DID brand and plain old chrome plated steel.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Allan
Buchanans, and Central Wheel Components are two companies that come to mind. If one of them don't know, it probably doesn't exist. Cheers.

Wowee.....a 3.00" rim. Now that's serious stuff, Allan. What ARE you up to now ?? If you tell us, are we all sworn to secrecy ??

IIRC, there is also a 2.50" width in between the 2.15 and the 3.00.....

That's a 1.85 width rim. That bike uses a 3.50 x 18 rear tire.
