I don't think I can use the old pump I had to heat it up a couple of times and I used some vice grips and a steel bar wedged between the frame and the grip to get it out chewed up the shaft pretty good, The bike still need a good cleaning, tires and seat I can do this during the summer, the tank and carbs are already clean first thing I did when I got her. Here a good way to clean carbs soak them in lime away for 10 to 20 minutes rinse off with water then spray them with carb cleaner this works better than Berrymans, it gets that white corrosion out fast if its not to bad but don't leave it in to long I've done it on my H1 and its running great.

Before you tear down the rest of the engine, you may want to check back here. Getting the barrels pulled off can be next to impossible as they tend to be stuck a heck of a lot tighter than what you found with the water pump. There are several things you can try, including making a pulling jig, to avoid further damage.
