Hi out there,
Was hoping for a test ride today, but the pet cock is leaking from the little hole in the back, which I think may mean the vacuum diaphram is leaking?
Do any of you guys know the part number, or where to get a refurb kit?
Had a look on Ebay, and there are some similar diaphrams (the GS550 looks similar) but dont want to buy the wrong kit. I can buy a complete tap, but would rather keep it original if I can.
Kind Regards
Steve

Re: GT550 Fuel tap.
A German company sells petcock parts:

An alternative is to do a manual petcock conversion.
My topic for an early GT550 petcock:

Make sure to map out the flow paths to figure out which ones to plug. Your late GT550 petcock may differ.
Also useful to use paint to mark off. Useful as reminder the petcock is manual.

Re: GT550 Fuel tap.
Thanks Jabcb,
I had thought of blanking off the tap vacuum - will have a look at this if I cant get the part. I have done some research and the Yamaha XS100 seems to have had a 36mm diaphram on its tap - just waiting for confirmation from the supplier. (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323694220318)
Downside is from China.......
All the Best and Thanks for the advice and info
