Suzuki T350 1971 Colors

Post by Rogerdj »

Does anyone have colour charts for the various T350 models? mine was registered as 'Green' however its had a repaint at some stage to what looks more like a Kawasaki Green , Im wanting to repaint to a standard factory colour.

Hopefully you have a manual/parts list for the bike?
Here's some original codes - https://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_ ... /index.php

However, I reckon the best bet would be to go to a local paint shop with either a headlamp (inner) fork ear (inner) or tank (underneath) original colour and get them to colour match.
As an example, my pack laquered Silver tanked GT550B has been sprayed Volkswagen reflex silver and is as close as possible to the original as it can get.
Remember that 60s/70s thinner based paints are now rarely used and modern 2 pack paints are harder wearing and available.....
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Per page 3 of the part manual: https://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_ ... /index.php
The T350R tank colors are:
color # 164, morrow green
color # 189, egret white

A table mapping the colors to models is here: https://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/Additi ... 0Chart.pdf
morrow green is also referred to as candy lime green

RS Bike Paint is located in the UK & sells the correct paint.

The T350R & GT550J were also available in candy yellow / aztec gold. I have both — it’s an excellent color for these bikes.
