GT250 shorter clutch cable

Post by Dan74 »

Hello.
I'm in the process of customising my GT250 and I've fitted a set of dropped clip on bars. The clutch cable is now too long and the bends that are occurring are making the clutch very stiff. Is there a shorter cable from a different Suzuki that will fit?

Did you ever resolve this issue - I have the same problem.
Thanks

The best option in this case is to make up your own. Venhill and other suppliers will sell you all you need to make up your own cables (or shorten your current one). A small blow torch, flux, solder and a Dremel with a fine cutting disc is all you need to make a good job.

Definately NO 4 strokes :-)
