Hi Guys, I’ve just fitted a modern Reg/rec to my 1973 250 to replace the silicon diode rectifier. Voltage measured at the battery rises from 12.5V to a max of 14.6 at high revs. My question is, will a modern sealed AGM battery be ok to use with that voltage input?
Thanks
Gt 250 regulator output.

You are fine to use that battery its the lithium battery you have to avoid, because they are charged at a set rate and can catch fire if overcharged
