Hi, I am looking at getting the crank on my T500 stripped and rebuilt with new seals and o'rings.
So would be grateful for recommendations of who to use in the UK please.
Many thanks
Phil.

Re: Crank rebuilding
There's several, but where are you in the UK, so we can give you a 'local' one.
Ah, just looked at your earlier posts....Tamworth area.
Chris Applebee has done 2 x GT550s and a 750 crank for me, so recommend him 100%. SEP in Kegworth have had mixed reviews, so personally, I wouldn't use them. Of course that choice is yours!

Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Re: Crank rebuilding
Yes sorry, local to the midlands would be useful.
.
I wouldn't touch SEP with a shi**y stick after they bored my TT500 barrel nearly 0.004" out of round.
What about PJME.? There not too far from me.
All suggestions greatly received.
Many thanks

Re: Crank rebuilding
Hi Phil,
I have an Applebee built crank, no issues. I usually get my race cranks re-built by Pete O'dell at "The Motorcycle Works in Peterborough. Pete is a T500 specialist and has all necessary parts to hand. Here's a photo of Pete's set-up for final truing of my race crank after re-build. I have also had a crank re-built by Grampian Motors (Nr Liverpool). fast service but I had to supply most of the piece parts.
Cheers Geoff

Re: Crank rebuilding
Firefox racing did one for me recently....seems all good and extremely reasonable on price. I will use them again.
