Looking at going down the Cafe route with my GT250L RAM.
I've got a tank from what I think is a 69 T20 that almost bolts straight in and will look the part with the knee depressions.
What looks out of place is the RAM head.
Has anyone tried fitting T20 heads on a RAM engine?
Mainly concerned with the stud pattern as I can machine the combustion camber etc as required - if someone had one handy and could measure it it would be appreciated!

For our GT250K cafe build, we used a T250J tank & used stock heads without the ramair covers. Cafe-GT250-0649 by jabcb, on Flickr
Hi Jacob, Yes I had a look at all the parts listings - the only common part was the head nuts.
I need some kind person that has a T20 head in front of them to measure the PCD for me!
why bother with all that work to fit t20 heads? the t250 heads bolt straight on with the same sleeve nuts i've got the diagonal fin pattern t250 heads on one of my gt250 ramair engines, but the straight fin ones fit just the same. personal choice, but i like the diagonal heads. if you do use t250 heads, don't forget they use short reach plugs, not the long ones that the gt250 uses
cheers, dd.
