Hi all,
My name is Tom from The Netherlands and I recently started a T/TR500 project and want to put a GT750 front end in a T500 frame. On several forums I read this should be a one on one swap. After finding a GT750 triple tree I had to find out the the thread on the stem (or how you call it) is kinda short, at least shorter as from the T500 triple tree.
Does anyone know if this, in combination with conical bearings, is a problem and if so how it can be fixed?
Thanks in advance .... Tom

Re: GT750 triple tree in T500
I've never done that exact swap. I did put GT750 fork legs in to a GT500 triple-clamp. Direct swap. Not sure if the earlier triple clamps are compatible. I'm sue someone here will be able to answer your question.

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.
