Hey folks. Was looking for a two stroke project and ended up with this one...
Previous owner was using it as a daily rider until it "partially seized" and he had recently moved and no longer had the room to work on it. After I got it home it was kicking over fine, getting spark and fuel, seemed like it was close to starting and then sure enough it locked up and would no longer kick over and I did not want to push things. I am in no rush and figured I would be pulling the engine anyways. Any ideas about what I should look for initially? Not a big fan of the current street scrambler style so I'll probably end up modding it along the lines of the vintage racers I use to watch at the track in the early '90s. Thanks in advance.

Drop the exhaust pipes and look at the pistons, if they look good then pull carbs off and look at intake side of pistons. Proceed from there.
