Hi
new to the site and new to restoration of my 1975 GT 250...I was told by the original owner that it needed an OIL INJECTION PUMP? Any diagrams avail for this? Is this a one piece unit or bits and pieces?
Any thoughts appreciated
thanks

Did the original owner provide a reason that you need an oil injection pump?
These oil pumps are usually rebuildable.
Suzuki originally didn’t intend these pumps to be rebuilt, but forum member bloop2 has a kit with the seals & o-rings that you would need.

Re: 1975 Suzuki GT250 OIL INJECTION PUMP?
Hello TJ,
I think you will have to go looking for a used item
on eBay . There are a surprising number of parts still available from Suzuki so they are always the first place to check. In the UK I use either Crooks Suzuki or Robinsons Foundry who both specialise in classic Suzuki parts, there are others though. Building up a number of contacts for parts is something that you need to do when restoring any bike.
I am sure the North American board members will chime in with good sources in the US and Canada.
Cheers Geoff

Re: 1975 Suzuki GT250 OIL INJECTION PUMP?
apparently the original owner changed\fixed\repaired the oil injection pump for me already...i'm not picking up the bike for a couple of weeks yet but, he did this for me without any ado....very nice of him...in fact he putting in new point and a condenser(?) as well...two of the things he said it needed...after that, she'll be ready to go....this gentleman knows the bike is going to be for "she who must be obeyed" as her first bike...guess her wants it to be perfect.....i do need to buy r & l mirrors for it..that I know I can get on ebay...thanks
