Kickstarter detent spring-T500?

Post by Jimroid »

My kick start detent spring is weak and the lever wants to slowly swing out. Any cheap/ easy springs readily available? The ball and socket are good condition.

Can you not stretch it a bit?

I tried once before. I guess I'll have to give it a better shot and try again.

You could stick in one of the springs from a retracting ball point pen, alongside the existing spring - just to beef it up a bit
