T500 oil seals
Hi, have identified that my right oil seal seems to have gone, have crank out, how do you change the outer oil seals? Can`t work out how it comes out. 74 model. Actually the left and right seals look really good from the outside, only seem a bit weak around the shaft, which is obviously the critical point. They`re hardish but look intact. The bearings seem perfect so it`s a shame to have the crank redone as my understanding is that they wreck the bearings splitting the crank. The only thing not perfect looking is the 2 `o` rings on the centre bearing housing. They have a few nicks on them. Can you do the outer seals without splitting the crank. Steve.

Re: T500 oil seals
The outer right left seals just pull off.
To replace the inner crank seals you need to strip the crank.
If you have the crank out then it's a good time to rebuild it and have a reliable motor,
Because they probably need changing.
