GT380 Front Fork Disassembly

Post by miked914 »

Hello,

Does anyone know to remove the chrome cap at the top of the forks? I do think even see it in the parts diagram and it appears that the seal is underneath it. I'm not able to upload a picture due to me not being bright enough to figure out how to resize...

Thanks!

Mike

I am assuming you are working with a 74, 72-73 use gators,75 on use rubber dust cover.the 74 use a chrome cover with small rubber dust seal. The chrome cover is pressed on forks and should come off by gently tapping upward.
