frame number

can anyone decipher a frame number T550-23930 . is it 1968-690 t500?

Looks like GT550K 1973. Have another look, for a 500 it should start T500.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

the seller has it advertised as a t500. if it is a gt would the frame number start with gt ?

You put T550, there's no such animal.
But the engine number on my 550 has a faint 'G' so I suppose it could be missed.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
