SB200 carb slide

Post by stevieburky »

Hi everyone! please can someone help me - I have recently bought a SB200 which was not running on one side correctly. I have found out why and it is due to the previous owner for some stupid reason attempting to cut his own groove down one side of the right hand carb slide! I can not find a replacement slide anywhere and have looked on ebay... does anyone know where I can locate a replacement slide please?? the slide is marked 2.0 on the bottom.

Have a look on ebay and ask people selling other parts.
They might just have something stashed and not advertised it.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Try Allens (http://www.allensperformance.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and they can probably help.

The carbs are just fairly standard Mikuni but the SB200 used different size carbs to the X5 so you wouldn't be able to swap sides there.

Lovely bike, the SB.

Sudco carries parts for most Mikuni carbs. I just ordered slides for my VM34s.

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.

Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........
