This is probably not the place, but my header says I have 1 new message. There is no new message in my inbox and it is also not full. Been this way for 4 days now. How do I make it return to 0 new message?

Go in to user control panel ... Then..... Messages..... Then pick the ones you want to get rid, or select all.. Bottom right...

Didn't work. Still says 1 new message. I think I'll try logging off the forum and the logging back in later

Logging off and waiting about 2 hours to log back in, no change. Still says 1 new message.

Well, it's been 18 days now. Still says I have 1 new message. In the interim I have received and sent other messages. Still remains 1 new message.. I've learned to ignore it. If I DO get a new message, it says I have 2. One legit and one unknown.

Same issue with me. it says I have 2 unread messages but, looks like I have read all mine and it's been like this for many days as well
