)n the carbs on a 74 GT550 there is a T piece coming from the inside of carb 1 and 2 which connects the three carbs. Where does the open ended part of the T piece go? Is it an overflow or a balance piece or what is it?
Any help would be great.
Thanks.
T piece.

If it's the plastic piece you speak of, it's a vent. The factory had hoses on them but it's totally not necessary. Just leave them open.

Re: T piece.
Most likely partially blocked pilot jets and or their passages. The choke is delivering the fuel that the pilots can't. Does it die right off when you switch the choke off? That's a definite sign the pilots are no delivering fuel.
