gt 750 pushrod / pressure plate error?

Post by dyrberg123 »

As i am taking the engine apart i was doing the clutch yesterday. I have a lot of experience on two strokes, but first time gt750. When dismantling the clutch pressure plate the push / pull rod did fall out of the bearing, so question is, is this a really loose fit :?:

Bearing looks okay, so does the stubshaft...

Cheers

Good question. They are all like that and I suspect that was Suzuki's version of a self aligning shaft and bearing to allow for tolerance stack up.
