74 gt750 oil pump adjustment

Post by mikefealk »

both the clymer and factory engine manual show an earlier model for oil pump adjustment info. mine has a line and two dots on the oil pump valve, and one line on the body. i assume the two lines are supposed to line up when at idle, correct?

download/file.php?id=2536" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

that is the configuration of the marks on my 74.

:up: Hi,yes with the throttle closed...engine NOT running !, the two lines align & the pump is set to factory specs ! This is correct for L,M,A,& B models with diaphramm carburettors
Cheers,
