Re: Paul Miller eBay
Is that to say all buyers and sellers in Ohio are scam artists? I seriously doubt that. How can you rule out an entire state because of a handful of dick heads?
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

For USPS the tracking number shows the routing history.pearljam724 wrote:I'm pretty sure, as a seller you can block bids from a particular state. I have to contact Ebay today to get assistance with that. I know for a fact you can stop bids from particular buyers. But, like you mentioned they have dozens of accounts. Some I wasn't aware of. I'm in the process of fighting the issue. But, like I also mentioned. Ebay, protects buyers. Which under the Buyer Protection Program it makes it easy for them to steal from you. Then they ruin your feedback, because you don't give into their demands. I went along with it . But, I knew something was seriously bogus when the guy made every excuse in the book that he couldn't return it. Finally, he agreed to in order for Ebay to refund him. Which was out of my pocket. But, he made up a bogus tracking number and it's been a month and I never received it. Also confirmed through the bogus tracking number. I should have received it in two days. But, I knew I wasn't going to from the get go. As he was acting very strange in the questions and points I was making to him. Nothing he was saying was making the slightest sense or true. I realized from the start what I was likely dealing with.
Did he use an invalid number that doesn't match up to an actual delivery?
Did he use a number that has wrong dates or wrong address?
Did eBay say anything about the tracking number being bogus?

Re: Paul Miller eBay
I agree. However, it's not worth the risk to me. How many people deal, buy and sell GT parts from one particular state ? Not too many when you narrow it down that way. The world is very big. If it means that I can reduce risks of being scammed by not dealing with that little part of the world. It's worth it to me. If you don't mind taking that risk because of your valid point. I completely understand that. Each time I was scammed it was proven to be from a business that practices salvaged motorcycle parts from that state. Problem is, you can't even reduce the risk of them scamming you even if you are a selling something. So, I'll take the road that eliminates that risk all together. It's a shame, but these guys have given me no other choice. If you had been burned twice, under the same circumstances. You would more than likely understand how I feel and approach. Ebay doesn't give a rats ass about guys like this. Because, it didn't cost Ebay a red cent. Ebay can't stop them because they have and continue to make numerous accounts. It's the only option I have left.Coyote wrote:Is that to say all buyers and sellers in Ohio are scam artists? I seriously doubt that.
