Help me locate these parts!!! 1966 Suzuki S32-2 Olympian

Post by wavehog33 »

I need the following parts to complete a rebuild/restoration on my 1966 Suzuki S32-2:
1. Throttle cable (Motion Pro can custom make it if needed)
2. Pair of chrome shocks with none or only minor pitting.
3. Gas cap!!!!!
4. Front 36H Takasago chrome rim 17x160. Also minor or no pitting.
Thanks again for everyones help!!! Here is a pic of the 66 Suzuki and for fun a pic of the 73 Kawasaki H1 500 I just finished.

Do you have a pic of your old cable? I might have one for you.

Here is the cable. measures about 38" total length. The housing length is approx 33 1/2" Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link. That cable is different though? It is not for an S32. The barrel for the throttle tube is not correct or the bend in the elbow. Not sure if the length is sufficient either. Thanks, sent mine to Motion Pro today for them to make a copy. Only part left is the gas cap....having a crazy hard time with that.

Sorry to necropost, how did the clutch cable turn out in the end? I just picked up a s32-2 today, and the clutch cable is one of the things needing attention. About what was the cost? Thanks!
