I bought a replica set of turn signals off of ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-T10-T20- ... 7b&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bulbs say 12v, 8w.
I have two flashers and the darn signals wont flash with either one.
All the wiring is correct according to the wiring diagram..
What else should I look at?

Re: T500 Signals wont flash
If the lamps both come on when the turn signal switch is moved, but don't flash, it might be the flasher relay (eg not earthed properly) or the signals not earthed properly, or perhaps the wattage not being quite right. If you have the old turn signal bulbs you could try those? 8W seems low, they are 23W on the late-GT models, including GT500?
Cheers,
Mike

Re: T500 Signals wont flash
the old bulbs are a different style, and I only have two of the housings left.
But however, you are correct!
I temporarily hooked up two on one side and it flashes just fine!
Wattage is probably too low on these bulbs
I will have to find some higher wattage bulbs that hopefully will fit in these housings.
I am definitely going to let the seller know about this.. I was thinking it was going to be plug and play!
This also solves my problem on my GT750. I bought a replica kit for it and it flashes properly only about half the time.. sometimes fast paced or not at all..
Thats the whole reason I had extra flashers in the first place!
Buyers beware on the turn signal replica kits!

You can fit a flasher unit designed for LED signal lamps. They are available for about 10 bucks at any Auto parts store.

Yep, have the same set of lights on my '71 T500.
Put in 4 of the correct bulbs, and the flasher should work fine. The bulbs fit in the sockets fine.

another thing to watch out for on these replica indicators if they are the chromed plastic ones is that the earth inside each unit relies on the actual plating to complete the circuit - I usually run a seperate earth lead inside each one to the mounting point
