Hello all,
I'm in the market for some new exhaust and I'm thinking of going with Jemco's simply because of the lower cost and simplicity of getting a hold of them in the states. I'm told I need to go up about 2 jet sizes. Before I start buying up all sorts of jets does anyone have any accurate jetting advise for a stock motor with the stock CV carbs and chambers?
Much appreciated, as always.
Mario

Hi Mario,
I have Jemcos on my stock motor (1975 GT750M) and I am running 117.50 mains and 45 pilots. No problems so far.

Yes if I recall there are 5 notches in the needle so the clip would be in the 2nd from the bottom.

I'm in the middle of a GT550 project and have been lurking here for info and the great pics. I'm ordering a set of JEMCO exhausts and really like the bare metal look. What did you use to protect them from the elements?

I used this (Satin Clear)
http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/flameproof/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seems to be holding up pretty well. I've also used Mop n Glo on another bike. It gives them a kind of burnished look.

I'm also told the mop n glo is a good route. My brother used it on his spec 2 pipes for his rz350 and so far no rust.
