how to remove blue plastic film

Post by jabcb »

Recently got some NOS aftermarket mirrors. Was able to get the blue plastic film off except where dime-sized stickers were. Got the stickers off, but the film underneath them has hardened & doesn't want to budge.

Any suggestions on how to get the rest of the film off without damaging the chrome finish underneath them?
