Congratulations Dofin. That must have been a long ride. I look forward to the drink. I'll have a 2 stroke there, but unfortunately it won't be a Suzuki

What kind of windshield do you have mounted on your 500? I'm looking for something that will look good on a number of bikes that I have and that can be swapped around.

Mike, sorry Ive been Montana the last 10 days and have to go to a bar for internet connection! SOOOOoooo I have to get the email junk done before I finish my first Tequila/and this local Stout beer that is Goood, after words I sorta forget whats next and that usually leads to another shot and beer. Well you know how it goes after that??

I have simple plexi fairing I got from JC Whitney. The only one that list the suzuki. Kinda funny to get mounted but it has worked for lots of miles, Gap run 3 times, Daytona once, Barbers twice, Mid Ohio once, SS1000, BB1500 and BB1500gold and back/forth to work 90 miles round trip. Oh yea, over 90mph (according to the GPS) it wants to unplug from the lower fork brackets, so tighten them up reall good, I use small hose clamps on the ends of the rods. Dofin

I have a Slipstreamer on my GT500, I have other work to do on the front end. so I have not used any thread locker. Every other day I have to check the screws that hold the topside mounting bars.

hint, use the small hose clamps on the upper suport rods. Put them on so they can not slip down into the clamps. works great!! If you need pictures let me know and i can post some. Dofin
