Steve,
While you are out there, could you have a look at the needle jets if you have a spare one and let me know what series it is? TIA

Yeah, I do too, if you don't Steve. I was just shuffling them around yesterday, so I actually know where they are. PM me if you need them. Cheers.stevegt738 wrote:I'm pretty sure that I have some GT500 bodies out in my stash, I'll go out and have a dig around and check the condition of them.

I can't find the box they are in, I'm beginning to think it might have accidently been turfed when we moved house at the start of the year
. Freds offer looks more promissing seeing as he knows where his are.

Re: 1976 GT500 Carb questions
Been awhile since i posted. Got the carbs fixed and jetted per recommendations but then i ran into oil pump issues. I replaced both lines going from the pump to engine and the one going from oil tank to pump and took the pump apart to rebuild it. Tough job finding all the o-rings, seals, etc seperate since they dont make a rebuild kit. With a quick search on here i found out how to prime the pump and get it flowing and it works perfect now. No more air bubbles in the line and it flows much better.
Now if i could find that post about adjusting the carbs...
Thanks alot guys!! I have found so much usefull info on here and with everyone helping with the jetting and carb problems i had, this site really is invaluable. Ill post up some more pics when its all together and shined up
