t500 rear sets
what rear sets will fit on a 72 t500? ive heard katana as well as gsxr rear sets will fit. but what years? and will the stock exhaust interfere?

If your Handy with cutting Aluminum Plate a set can easily be Fabricated.

If you're looking for a simple bolt-on installation, the stock exhaust really limits your options. The Titan Performance rearsets work with the stock pipes and are a simple bolt on installation. All the bikes I've seen with gsxr or katana style controls have also had aftermarket pipes that gave the needed clearance.
Obviously if you're willing and able to fabricate mounts, linkages, etc then you might be able to work something else out. Hopefully someone else will chime in with other options

Hi Tamadrmr....we designed our rearsets to bolt straight on, look pretty, and be in keeping with the age of the bike. I have seen modern rearsets cobbled on the 500...but IMO they don't look right as they are too new !

No, they are not the cheapest alternative out there, but I am not aware of purpose built rearsets from any other manufacturer...and they are not cheap to build. !
