The pinkpossum site does show the starter circuits.

It's not a device that chokes off the air supply the way an old AMAL and some Keihins operate. It's an enricher circuit which adds more fuel. If the throttle is open there is insufficient pressure differential to draw fuel through that circuit.

I would suspect one of two issues. One possibility is that the plunders are not sealing, but that would lead to a rich mixture, so it's probably not that.

Most likely is the small jet pressed into the front of the float bowl. Fuel is drawn through that tiny drilling into the enricher/cold start/choke system and they get clogged. Pull a float bowl off and check that tiny passageway.

Nine times out of ten they are partly or completely blocked. They are not easy to clean but if they are blocked no fuel gets to the starter circuit.

Good news. With the help of the diagrams I could figure out that in the morning the bike was flooded. So wont start without a struggle. Took the carbs out ones again and this time cleaned every little hole out with the help of some guitar wire and carb cleaner. With the diagrams I could see where the fluid must exit. Then I saw that the peticock was slowly leaking petrol in all positions(about a drop every 20 seconds). I went and bought a small tap to put inline to block the fuel 100%. When I finished I turned the tap to off and Ileft the bike idling for about a minute and then switched it off.

This morning I put the new tap to on, cocked the choke and the bike started immediatey!!!!

The petcock can cause a lot of problems if not working correctly, sounds like your figuring your problems out one a at a time.

you can say that again Barry, but it is a excellent way to learn how this bike works.(although frustrating  ) The problem in South Africa is to get hold of any parts. So You have to fix or modify what you can!!
