PVC harness tubing

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

Its a sort of matte finish and it comes in the imperial sizes but its really reasonably priced. Good for many applications.
Heres a link to the store on ebay for the 1/4 inch size with free shipping as well.

Two strokes, its just that simple.

Hey Allan,

Vintage Connections sell it as well in various sizes.

It's not a matte finish, I don't think, but is still a great product.

I've bought a heap of stuff from them - their pricing is good and the quality is superb.
Highly recommended.

Cheers

Ah yes Paul,,, but they don't have these sizes, I know because I checked with them. The 1/4 and 3/8 sizes at genuinedealz are good for the switch gear harnesses, the points harness, and the alternator harness on the buffalo.

Hmmm,

Thanks Allan, I didn't think of those small sizes.

Might buy me some from that seller.

As an update Paul, Vintage Connections sell 6mm and 7mm but then they jump up to 11mm for the smaller sizes. These come with a glossy finish and have a thin wall.
I asked them if they were willing to offer a 9mm as well and got a resounding NO!, not happening.
However if you look at their silver grey sleeving it comes in a different diameter for one size, I believe they have an 8mm.
Genuinedealz have the PVC type in a few sizes, including the 1/4 and 3/8 for the smaller diameters. These give you an option in more sizes if you are changing the wire gauges or adding some for a particular reason
This PVC sleeving can tolerate some high temps and comes in a semi flat finish and it has a slightly thicker wall than the V.C sleeving.
The 1/4 and 3/8 sizes would work well for applications such as the switch gear harnesses on the GTs and of course other applications as well.
