Dust seal cover - swingarm

Post by SW550 »

Everywhere I have checked at the Discount parts for my 550 these swingarm dust covers are not cheap.
All four different parts warehouses have them at and the lowest @ $64.81 each. How can that be? What makes these small dust covers so expensive?
Being I am replacing the seals in the swingarm I wanted to do the dust covers too, I came across these on Ebay, still have 3 left.

Are a lot cheaper.

And that's for two, not each.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Maybe that's why they're cheap!!
Well how about;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-GT750- ... 1004788493" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; might have some
http://www.classicsuzukiparts.nl/parts/36610-36102" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; have some

They are on a Yahoo search.
I don't use google as it is a pain to use with all the cookies it wants to put on my pc.

See what you mean about the US prices, they really are taking the p1$$.

I believe I have just about everything I need, just finding a few missing parts here and there once I get things apart, like those dust covers, both are missing.
Most parts I can find here in the U.S. but a few I have ordered across the Pond.
Appreciate the additional links, always better to have even more places to look for hard to find new replacement parts - no matter where they be.

Theres an issue with those covers and Suzuki USA have them listed at that insane price. I think a decimal may be in the wrong place and it should be $6.41, but they say not, the listed price is correct.
I recently needed two and got them from Ebay with the inner washers and o-rings.
Two strokes, its just that simple.
