I've met the guy selling the Dunstall. He travels the country buying cheap sets of leathers, and sells them on to fellas wanting them for track days. He seems to get a lot of 500 twin stuff. In fact he has had some really unusual bits over the last couple of years. Shame he is based in Scotland...too far to go to see any of it.
I must say, that the design of that bike is pretty ugly for me. But I guess that's how things were back in the 70s. I have some Dunstall rear sets on one of my bikes, which I fiitted back in 79. To be truthful, they are hideous, but I keep them as they are period.

That one is f'ugly because hardly any of the bits were designed for that bike. Dunstall didn't offer a tank/seat kit for that bike which is why is doesn't fit and says 550 on the side. Pipes are wide and ugly and rear sets are worse.

It's "almost" nice.

Well spotted TZ...I knew the proportions didn't look right, but never noticed the 550 emblem.
It was Dresda that converted a 500, not Dunstall, wasn't it?
