That's a beaut, never seen one in green myself. Only on ebay or in a pic.

Oh thats a sweet 71, and a pop green colour too, but i like the 72 400 just behind it.

$4500 - wow. A neighbor of ours had a green one just like that back in the day.

I emailed the seller a while ago when he was listing another bike and asked if he was interested in selling the TS400, but he did not reply. So no sale. I did buy some keys from him though

Regarding purchase price, I seem to recall my 1973 TS185 costing $700 new. Don't remember if that was out the door or not. I wonder what that would be in 2009 dollars

Anyhow you get a ballpark idea.

The bikes are over restored with all the extra shiny aluminum for sure, but it does look ok, not correct, but flashy.
Lane most people who'll buy these kind of bikes never ride them anyways so its all in the collecting for these folks.
