For someone wanting to attempt an RE5 restoration its about as good as it will get for a $500.00 bike, thats if the bidding doesnt go wild and crazy.
If it runs and works as the present owner claims thats a good thing, but its certainly a crusty looking example.
Sam at RR has assured me with this statement recently in a conversation we had " theres nothing on an RE5 you can point to that i do not have in stock" can anyone dealing in classic parts say that about Buffalo parts??? nope.
Its all time and money in the end isnt it...

Man its got a lot going for it and a lot needing help. If anyone here buys it please oh please dump that seat and those bars and put the bike into good shape with some work.
I cant see it clearly in the pics but the rear shocks have been re-positioned at the swingarm somehow and thats dropped the rear end...

I'd like to see what this one handles like!
Not sure how it'd actually perform, but its an interesting mix of parts!

ns400 frame with cr500 motor. ready to race. it has wide ratio tranny with custom gearing, balanced crank, bluprinted, bored, ported, milled head and polished head, custom manifold, reeds, carb and custom pipe. has a cbr600 front end and back wheel with racing slicks.body work is tz250. i would consider trade or partial trade for 125 or 250 dirtbike.

In case you dont know.....
Heres an item PM sells at a starting bid of $29.00, and ive seen the bidding go as high as $60.00 plus dollars on these.
Thats not even including the shipping charges on top of that.
In case you need one its good to know they are still available from your Suzuki dealer and the selling price is around $25-$28.00.
