Sad, really. This is another of those guys who doesn't know vintage bikes from vintage washing machines, and he probably sells both. Looking close at that engine, I see screws backed out of the alternator cover, and the base gasket is either leaking or full of Permatex. Really shabby work. A total resto needed, for sure.

I wouldn't think it will go for much considering what it is, buyer make get a nice looking bike for not too much money.

Holy crap Batman!
I only glanced at this particular pic and didn't even notice the bloody-gaping-great HOLE in the crankcase!

That goes nicely with the (now) obvious levering gouges at the rear of the cylinder and the exposed screw threads from the broken screw hole in the edge of the side-cover.

This bike has been majorly bodged by a hamfisted PO.
Me personally, I wouldn't touch it with a forty-foot pike-pole. If anyone's gonna do any bodging on my bike it's gonna be me!
Caveat emptor...

Heh, actually it wouldn't have been noticeable if he hadn't submitted such large pictures

I love these guys who say stuff like "BIKE IS SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE,TITLE IS EASILY OBTAINABLE THROUGH NYS DMV." He's had it a few years. If getting the title was so easy, why hasn't he done it? :?

Oh Lord, you're right! I was fixated on the damage to the cylinder base and didn't notice the busted case. Tuned by a local wizard, eh? eBay is providing some real entertainment.

Bloody hell... that is a bit stupid.

Questions (for K owners):

Is the M/C correct - I thought the K's had the aluminum-reservoir style M/C?
Is the speedo correct - I though K's had a black-faced speedo with much wider increments?
What's with the seat cover - looks like it's for a different model Suzuki, GS maybe?

I could be being anal, but for that sort of money It'd want to be perfect, more perfect than this is...

Cheers
