That is fairly steep. You would be surprised just how shiny that an old rusty pump rod would be if it were polished. Most of the parts on our bikes were zinc coated. Which is pretty close to being a worthless rust prohibitor.

I didnt need one luckily but ran across the item surfing Ebay and just could not believe the price they were wanting for basically a bent piece of rod .
