Hey that's our very own Desmocat selling the Jemcos! He's the one on the right in my avatar. Hopefully to fund a cool race bike or street project???

Yes that's me selling a few parts to fund my 2009 racing habit. No new cool projects, except I'll finally get the T20 on the track this year. I'm focusing on finishing up what projects I've got going instead of starting something new, novel concept?

What is this finishing projects before starting something new you speak of? It seems like English but I can't seem to grasp the meaning????

Desmocat, Did those slip on chrome J&R chambers require a carb rejetting from the stock settings?

Frappy,

I did go one jet size richer when I rebuilt and ported the motor, but with the J&R's I felt it was too rich. I would stick with the stock jetting, especially if you've got a stock motor.

That sounds like a really cool and simple upgrade. I love loud 2-strokes! I'll bet those babies will bring you some good bucks! Never seen them before - wish I had a set of those!

What would be really, really interesting is if someone could find a NOS source for these or take the initiative to again start fabricating similar slip-on headers for the T500. I really like the design look of the J&R upswept pipe.

Hey Jug,

They are still at Jeff 's house. Maybe he'll bring them tomorrow as we're meeting to go to the Cycle World show in NYC.

He's also got a T500 AllSpeed slip-on of mine and one made by S&S for the T500 as well. He was thinking about making them and I hope one day he will.....

Before they plant you on boot hill, you need to get to Mid-Ohio one July too!
