Cobra Ft fender

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

Cobra front fender in listing, needs some work but still pretty good. As usual the listed year models is wrong.

Thanks - got my eye on it, but seller won't post a buy-it-now price - I asked! Hope it doesn't go too high!

WOW! $940 for a final bid!!! Too bad ebay has made it impossible to see where the high bidder is from. I'd be interested in knowing if this was a US bidder or someone from overseas...

Well it wasn't me. That's $260 less than the last Cobra fender that sold on eBay. Guess a swap meet may be the only way to find an "affordable" one.

At the rate they are selling for on ebay - I could afford to get my crappy Cobra fender copied in aluminum by Evan Wilcox or another aluminum craftsman....

Wow thats a hot item, whoever can reproduce the fenders for a Cobra to exactling specs can make some money for sure.
I know its correct for the bike but i think the 69s slimmer fenders would look more appealing on a Cobra.

Yes, there certainly is a lucrative market for most any condition Cobra front fenders. Or maybe there's only 7 guys out there that want them, and until there's only 1 it's going to be supply vs. demand?

I know this may be a noob or unanswerable question - but did Suzuki make their own fenders back then or sub them out?
