Haha, learned a new word today. While we're on the subject though how do you have a '78 GT750? I Thought Ian (Oldjapanesebikes) had the only one...
No really... it's supposed to smoke.

To be fair it was registered in Jan '78 :) .The 'B' model is the last of the line, and shares some styling with the early GS 750 launched at the same time. They are fairly common in UK but not in the same numbers as the 'A'.

Mine is a 'bitsa' though as it has an earlier engine in it without the 'liquid cooled' badges on.......

I do know quite a bit about GPz's and Kawasakis John ( though I say so myself ), having owned them in my youth, and now gone back to them. I'm still learning in the two stroke department though, which complete my mid-life crisis as being the bikes I yearned for when I started riding at 17 in 1977. Sheene was at his peak and I had an RD200 and then a GT185  , before passing my test......... happy days.

That's a rare year in the states as well, especially in that condition.

I do know quite a bit about GPz's and Kawasaki's John.

I don't doubt that for one minute.
I used to work with a couple of lads who had the GPZ600 and the other GPX600.
I preferred the the GPZ but never got around to get one.
there is that many bikes you don't know where to start.

in my youth all my bikes were two strokes starting with a Lambretta Li150.
as soon as I turned 21(1972) I bought my 1st bike a Suzuki 350 rebel then a T500J....last a Norton Domi 88
returning back to bikes after a few years(about 15 years) I got a GSX250 .
I never bothered about bikes at all.then I got talking to a guy where I worked about bikes that I had etc. he then offered me this GSX250 for £200.
I hadn't a clue what it was and I wasn't really interested.
he persuaded me to come and have a look.
when I saw the bike! my that is abeaut. so that how I got back into bikes.
if he hasn't persuaded me I may never have got back into bikes at all.
has any one else got into bikes like I did or similar??
