I am doing this for a work buddy it was his dads first bike and has sat in the back of his barn for 36 years.
was told it was complete but a bit grimmy.

It looks to have survived quite well considering.
I had the 125 from a little later....1974, by which time it had become the RD.
Fantastic little screamers.....and you just can't fall off them !

This is a resto well worth doing, I don't imagine there are great numbers of these left now.
Looking forward to seeing the end result !
Keeping old 2 strokes alive !

thanks guys ,as for the bars you would have to 5 foot long arms and not alot of steering lock.
certenly would be as areodynamic as possible.
dont think they were standard. :oops:

the motor is locked up ,got one jug of but the other side is resisting my charms.
i am hopeing the rings are rusted to the bore rather than the crank welded to the bearings .
the owner is shy on spending any money as he only paid $600 for it new. :clap:
when i told him how much i thought it will cost to just get it going (bearing in mind no labour just parts).he went a funny color. :wth:
