I am doing this for a work buddy it was his dads first bike and has sat in the back of his barn for 36 years.
was told it was complete but a bit grimmy.
i as amazed how much is still available (ebay etc).

It looks to have survived quite well considering.
I had the 125 from a little later....1974, by which time it had become the RD.
Fantastic little screamers.....and you just can't fall off them !
This is a resto well worth doing, I don't imagine there are great numbers of these left now.
Looking forward to seeing the end result !

thanks guys ,as for the bars you would have to 5 foot long arms and not alot of steering lock.
certenly would be as areodynamic as possible.
dont think they were standard.
the motor is locked up ,got one jug of but the other side is resisting my charms.
i am hopeing the rings are rusted to the bore rather than the crank welded to the bearings .
the owner is shy on spending any money as he only paid $600 for it new.
when i told him how much i thought it will cost to just get it going (bearing in mind no labour just parts).he went a funny color.
