Since I am on winter lay-off, my time available for new and creative things.
I had the idea to offer to transport bikes for board members. Pick up and deliver at your choice of locations. I have GPS nav and an enclosed trailer, front wheel lock with proper floor tie-downs so weather is not an issue, and I could carry a second bike or parts in the bed of the truck, although it would be open air.
Easy access to Interstate 80. (10 minutes)
I would do this for a profit, since I am looking for supplemental work. Cost to be determined based on the current price of gasoline. However, it would be less than you could hire common carrier on most occasions, especially east of the Mississippi. Lower 48 only please, no Canada, I do not have a Passport.
I would use the utmost care in handling and transporting, but you would have to agree to assume all risks and not hold me liable for any losses. My trailer is padlocked at the doors and and at the hitch when transporting ANYTHING.
PM me with any interest.

Only thing, the longer the distance the more cost effective common carrier becomes. I'd have to haul two at once to overcome their advantage at longer distances.cabz wrote:saweetGT Tim wrote:I would make you an offer to do just that very thing.cabz wrote:So I if get a real good dela on a bike up north you'll transport to fl?
seems like most of the deals I find are in NJ, OH .PA.
I can get two medium size bikes in my trailer (T500), otherwise, the second would have to go in the truckbed.
