Re: Year of the Dragon
I will be leaving northern Vermont via pickup with my 1975 Buffalo in back and drive to southern central PA (near Hagerstown, MD). I will then spend two weeks of riding the Blue Ridge Parkway and Smoky Mountains, the last week of April and the first week of May. I have an open itinerary, and I would appreciate any help in constructing this trip, and would enjoy any company for all or portions of the ride. I plan to either camp or use motels, depending on the weather. I have no preconceptions, so any information about anything pertinent would be welcome. I have traveled in this area in the past (by auto) and I am looking forward to rediscovering this area by bike. Thanks in advance for your replies!

The Blue Ridge Pky. is beautiful, at least the Southern portion of it that I have ridden. You should have a great time, there are enough towns near it to find rooms, I usually stay in Robbinsville NC and ride from there. My Buffalo is a little weak in the high elevations above 5000 feet, good luck.

Re: Year of the Dragon
Would I be better of in the mountains with my 1977 GT550 or my 1975 GT 750?
