elevation at the gap

what is the elevation/altitude at the gap and comming from houston 70 miles from the coast would i need to alter anything to suit.

Across the 11 miles the elevation varies from about 900-2000 ft. You will see elevations up to 6000 ft in the area.

I rode my RD400s, and GT500s from all elevations at the Gap and had no trouble with the standard jetting. My bikes are unmolested, modified engines might need some jetting but the altitude will just make the engines run a little rich shouldnt be a problem.

I rode the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway last summer on my GT550L without any problems.
